The Coaching programme for Civil Services Examination in this Institute is given to candidates of Tamil Nadu belonging to all communities. The reservation of seats for different communities is as follows. |

| 1. Eligibility | |
| a) Educational Qualification | Any Degree from a recognized University |
| b) Age Limit | The Minimum and Maximum age limit as on 1st August is as follows |
| i) BC, MBC - 21 & 33 Years | |
| ii) SC/ST - 21 & 35 Years | |
| iii) OC - 21 & 30 Years | |
| II. Admission Procedure | |

Applications for selection of candidates for admission to the coaching programme are invited in the month of August/September. Advertisement for this purpose will be published in leading dailies in the month of July/August. |

Eligible Candidates are required to take the Entrance Test. The test will consist of 160 objective type question in General Knowledge related to Indian History, Economics, Indian Polity, Geography, Mental Ability, General Science & Current Affairs. There will be about 10 centres in TamilNadu for the Entrance Test. Based on merit and Community Reservation system, 200 candidates will be admitted in Residential coaching and 100 candidates in part time coaching. |
